Dr. Peralta is a fellowship-trained podiatric foot and ankle surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He provides comprehensive care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, with particular expertise in advanced surgical techniques, sports medicine, wound care, and limb preservation.
Dr. Peralta earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of South Florida Honors College and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated near the top of his class. He completed his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at HCA Florida Westside Hospital, serving as Chief Resident, followed by the Michigan Minimally Invasive and Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship at Detroit Foot and Ankle.
His approach to patient care begins with listening carefully, establishing an accurate diagnosis, and developing an individualized treatment plan for each patient. He emphasizes conservative treatment whenever appropriate while utilizing advanced surgical options when needed. His goal is to help patients relieve pain, restore function, and return confidently to the activities they enjoy.
Dr. Peralta is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to communicate directly with patients and families in the language in which they are most comfortable.
Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Peralta now calls North Texas home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, exploring the outdoors, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and becoming involved in the local community and his church.
